Reclaiming the Ridge
A steep, aggressive slope made this Indian Land backyard completely unusable for hosting. We carved a 100-square-foot terrace into the hillside, anchored by a custom bench wall that retains the slope and seats guests — with a hand-laid firepit at the center.

Yes. Hortus Lawn Care Services LLC is fully licensed and insured for hardscape installation across the greater Charlotte metro, including Indian Land, Fort Mill, and surrounding South Carolina areas.
In many cases, yes. We assess the existing base condition and grade on-site. If the sub-base is sound, we can integrate a fire pit pad into or adjacent to the existing patio. We'll give you an honest assessment at the consultation.
We require a 50% deposit to secure your schedule slot and cover material ordering. The remaining 50% is due on completion day, after you've walked the finished project with us and approved the work.
We serve the full Charlotte metro on both sides of the state line — Charlotte, Ballantyne, Weddington, Marvin, Matthews, Indian Land, Fort Mill, Clover, and Lake Wylie. Reach out if you're outside those areas and we'll let you know.
